Timer Practice
Timer Practice
This worksheet is to provide you a measurement for how long you spend reading and answering a question while being timed. Work through all of the questions so that you will learn how to increase your response time to basic questions and give you MORE time to analyze 1) what is being asked and 2) which of the answers is the "best possible" answer. The faster you can recognize what the question is about in general, the faster you can move to strategize what the best answer is.
Instructions:
Start timer for 40 minutes. Read the question out loud. Answer the question out loud. If you don’t know the answer, say ”I am looking this one up.” Place a checkmark next to the question and move on to the next question. Once you have finished, fill this in:
Results:
- Total - Time started: ________________ Time ended: ________________
- Number of questions to look up: ___ Time started:______ Time ended: ___________
Total time spent for all questions in A and B: ______________
Goal:
Next practice session - Start timer for 35 minutes. This practice is to increase your familiarity and increase your response time per question. This will give you more time to use on analyzing what is being asked and which of the answer choices are the “best possible” choice.
We look forward to hearing about this and hope this practice takes off the stress of working while being timed,
Email me or any of your Agent Rising Instructors if you have questions as you work through timer practice.
All the best, Shawna
